Monitoring and acceptance
The monitoring purpose, independently from the scope, is to identify any movements, displacements and / or deformations in time from the object / phenomenon investigated. In line with the possible components of risk emerged, we design the most appropriate methodology for the control of areas subject to particular problems, eg due to possible structural failure, through the acquisition, management and analysis of information and data resulting from measures, periodic or continuous, carried out by geomatics techniques.
Our experiences in the monitoring field cover various areas including:
- instability of slopes
- areas subject to flooding
- effects of subsidence on historical and artistic buildings
- geometric attitude of vertical structures like ancient towers
- design and data analysis of integrated systems.
The skills acquired in the last years of activity has allowed us to identify critical issues and problems in the field of the high precision monitoring that usually are not considered but at the same time significantly affect the quality of results. Survey methodologies and investigation were developed in order to ensure a reliable result; this is an indispensable condition when to the need for monitoring is associated with a component of risk.
